About Trinity

Built on the belief that every individual and family deserves to thrive

Trinity Family Counseling & Wellness exists because every person deserves access to skilled, caring mental health support — regardless of background, income, or circumstance.

Our Story

Built on purpose. Driven by compassion.

Trinity Family Counseling & Wellness was founded in Flower Mound, Texas by Jana Kay McHam, LMFT-S, after more than a decade of clinical work in community mental health settings. She saw how often people who needed care couldn't access it — and set out to build a practice that removed as many barriers as possible.

Today, Trinity is home to a team of deeply skilled, warmly compassionate clinicians who believe that healing happens in relationship — with a trusted therapist, yes, and also with yourself and the people who matter most to you.

We are licensed, insured, and supervised to the highest standards of Texas mental health practice. Our ongoing commitment to continuing education and peer consultation ensures you always receive care that reflects the latest evidence.

What We Stand For

Our core values

Compassion & Warmth
Every client walks in carrying something heavy. We meet you there — with patience, warmth, and a genuine commitment to understanding your experience before offering anything else.
Excellence & Professionalism
We hold ourselves to the highest clinical standards. Every therapist at Trinity is fully licensed, regularly supervised, and committed to ongoing education and growth.
Integrity & Growth
We are honest with our clients about what therapy can and cannot do. We operate with full transparency — in our fees, our methods, our limitations, and our hope.
Meaningful Support
We welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, cultures, and configurations. Every person and every family deserves a therapist who sees and affirms who they truly are.
Our Clinical Team

The people behind your care

Every Trinity clinician is hand-selected not only for clinical excellence but for the kind of genuine empathy that makes therapy work.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that our relationships are central to our well-being. Whether with a partner, family member, or within ourselves, healing begins when we feel safe, seen, and understood. I approach therapy with the understanding that individuals are deeply shaped by their relational and cultural contexts.
