Relationships are at the core of the human experience. When those relationships feel strained—whether with others or within ourselves—life can feel overwhelming. Healing begins with understanding, connection, and a willingness to look inward.
Although past experiences, including trauma, shape how we see ourselves and the world, they do not have to define what comes next. In fact, many people try to push through or outthink their struggles. However, real change happens when we slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface.
My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a powerful and trauma-informed model. IFS helps identify the different “parts” of you—the ones that protect, the ones that carry pain, and the ones that feel stuck. Instead of fighting these parts, we learn to work with them. As a result, trauma can be processed in a way that feels safe, respectful, and lasting.
At the same time, I integrate strengths-based and collaborative therapy. This matters because you already have the capacity for growth. My role is not to fix you. Instead, I help you access clarity, resilience, and direction that may feel out of reach.
I offer a space that is supportive, honest, and grounded. I will meet you where you are. At the same time, I will challenge you when needed. Whether you are navigating trauma, relationship conflict, stress, or life transitions, our work will focus on helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward with intention.
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, where I am training in trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
In addition, my background includes experience in high-stress environments, the military, and supporting individuals through complex life challenges. This perspective allows me to better understand how stress, trauma, and life demands can impact mental health, relationships, and overall well-being.
My transition into therapy was driven by a desire to use both professional training and lived experience to guide and empower others. I work with individuals, trauma survivors, couples, and families who are navigating stress, conflict, and major life transitions.
By combining Internal Family Systems (IFS) with practical, strengths-based strategies, I help clients process past experiences, improve communication, and build resilience. The goal is not just insight—but meaningful, lasting change.
